Our Community Agreements:

I agree to protect myself, the community, and the venue. I agree to guide and co-regulate my child toward this end.
All forms of discrimination are challenged at Makerspace. I agree to be open to dialogues on this topic and to support my child’s development in this area.
I agree to follow and reinforce with my child all boundaries set by facilitators.
I agree to follow CDC safety protocols with regard to transmissible illness and to stay home if any of my family members are sick.
I agree that Happy Chaos, LLC is NOT liable for any injury or illness incurred, physically or psychologically, to myself or my child, during this event.

I agree that at least one adult who has reviewed this online orientation will watch over and guide my child at all times during the event.
I agree to allow my child to take breaks with me as needed. I will not leave my child unsupervised during breaks.
I agree to only use electronic devices outside of the main event space. AAC devices are allowed everywhere.

Our venue is home to a therapy practice, Flourish Counseling. You’ll see Flourish’s signage on the door, but Crafty Cats is NOT therapy. It’s just for fun!
Designated parking is available right outside for $3, or you can easily find street parking down Orange Street or adjacent streets. If you need accessible parking, please let us know, and we will cover the cost for you.
Event Schedule:
10am- Grab social badges* and name tags (no awkward ice breakers necessary!)
10:10am- Crafting & hang time!
12pm- Our Special Guest, Veterinarian Dr. Anne Symonds will give a presentation on cat body language with her kittycat sidekick, Sweet Auggie
12:30pm- Close
^You can see the main crafting/hangout spaces above. Things will look slightly different with our art supplies and decorations all set up, of course!

We’re making cat-themed valentines, along with other fun crafts! Walgreens is an easy place to print photos of your favorite feline friends, if you don’t have any pics handy.
